In a surprising turn of events, renowned Skyrim clutter mod creator Emmi “Elianora” Junkkari has joined forces with Bethesda to contribute to the design of Starfield’s intricately cluttered environments.
The revelation came directly from Elianora, who playfully admitted to deceiving fans by pretending to be unaware of Starfield’s development while secretly working on the project at Bethesda.
“I have been deceiving you. I have been lying. I have been faking. I’ve kept secrets and pretended,” Elianora cheekily confessed in a recent Facebook update.
The mod creator further confessed to fabricating their surprise at the various teasers and press releases surrounding Starfield’s development, including elements like ladders, space flight mechanics, and the astonishing level of detail within the game’s environments. “I placed some of that clutter myself,” Elianora admitted.
According to the post, Elianora was hired by Bethesda as a “lighting and clutter artist” based on their reputation for fan-favorite mods that added immersive details and lived-in clutter to Skyrim’s world.
